Today after shooting, I will be on my way home. I work this next week in Salina, Kansas which is close to home.

It will be nice sleeping in my own bed for a change.

Down in Goodwell, OK for a couple of days then onto Garden City, KS again.

Now in Omaha, NE. Will be setting up tomorrow for my first solo shoot for Olan Mills.

I am home for a few days then off to Omaha, NE.
So, while I am home trying to get things caught up around the house.
And enjoying time at home.

In Canon City, CO hoping to get out to Royal Gorge and Pikes Peak this week and take a few trails while in this area.
Otherwise doing well.

Still haven't figured out the shopping cart yet.

Back in Denver until Monday morning, the 8th then on to Canon City, CO until the 12th.

Hotel report:

Great Bend, Kansas Travel Lodge is best so far since I started working for Olan Mills.

Motel 6 in Aurora, CO had great internet access, but no breakfast, fridge, or microwave.

Super 8 in Westminster has good breakfast, very nice suite, but internet is terrible.

Hope to be home in two weeks

Back to Denver again the second through the eight of September.

Then maybe on to Nebraska.

Got booked to photograph a church in Denver, CO and they forgot about the Democratic Convention taking place at the same time.
Talking about a hard time getting a room.

Just started with Olan Mills and after one day was taking photos for the last three days. Still a lot to learn, but love the job.
I am hoping to get the site updated soon, please hang in there.

Back in Kansas for a few days then back to Michigan for family reunion on the 16th.
My favorite saying right now is "On the road again" it is also the  front plate from when I drove truck.
Weather is cool and nice only in the 80s.

Have an interview with Olan Mills on Friday.

It is 107 degrees today and that is in the shade. The heat index is over 110 degrees.

On a day like today I sure miss my pool.
The cows were out in the ponds up to their backs.

I did see some more pheasants today.

In Kansas and its a little hot here. Good thing there is lots of wind.
Will be going back to Michigan tomorrow or Tuesday.
But first I want to catch the combine demolision derby in Abilene

Got back from Kansas today after getting the harvest of wheat in and hit a deer with my truck. Not the weekend you want to try to get your truck into the body shop to have it fixed.
And yes the deer was killed.
